Musings 188--Bush bashing ain't fun no more.

Taking cheap shots at Bushie jr. is just not as much fun as it used to be. Now it is kind of liking kicking your dog. He just comes back for more the next day.

Jr. looks pained a good portion of the time these days. He is probably thinking that his legacy is going to have him go down as one of the worst president's of all time.

The pundits say that Bush jr. wants to change his policies in Iraq. Well, after watching him turn up his nose at the Iraq Study Group report, I think that he still intends to try for a military victory. He will probably deploy 30,000 to 50,000 more troops in an effort to give the wobbling Iraqi government one last chance to survive. Your guess is a good as mine as to where those troops will come from. We are spread thin as it is. I suppose that he could rob peter to pay paul throughout the world. I'm told that we have about 200,000 elsewhere in the world.

Of course, in the end it won't make much of a difference, and more soldier's lives will be lost. It seems that Bush jr. and his inner circle want democracy in Iraq more than the Iraqi's. Wow, there is a flash.
