Musings 199--Bush becomes a judge.

Months ago, I said that George W. Bush would pardon Scooter Libby. Yesterday he commuted his sentence. That means he will do no jail time. The pardon will come when Bushie leaves office. It will just be a bit of late house cleaning.

Bushie has always come across to the public as a big law and order guy. Well, means that he is for law and order when it is the little guy. When his guys have their tits in the wringer, then he believes in different standards. The rich elite have different rules. Hell, his people have been saying that for years. Of course, when you look behind the curtain you find that Bushies and his crowd are the rich elite. (That's why they can say that with confidence. They understand it, but want you to think it is only Kennedy, Kerry and Clinton.)

It is now time to impeach both Bush and Dick Cheney. Obviously, James Madison, a constitutional founder, would agree:

"[If] the President be connected, in any suspicious manner, with any person, and there be grounds to believe he will shelter him, the House of Representatives can impeach him; they can remove him if found guilty," observed the man whose notes provide the essential outline of the deliberations of the Constitutional convention. "

The above statement was Madison writing about his views on impeachment. When Clinton was being considered for impeachment, the same quote was tossed about carelessly. Well, let us now start tossing again.

George W. Bush and Dick Cheney are men that actually feel that they are above the law. The evidence is clear. Wouldn't it be great to prove them wrong.

Bush had no compassion for anyone in Texas when he was governor. He sent criminals to death without so much as a blink. The courts had set their fate and he did not want to interfere. Well, the court said that Libby was guilty of perjury and obstruction of justice. Now George doesn't like it. Now he becomes the judge and jury. Wow, ain't it amazing when you don't get your way. But, when you are president, you just change things to your way.

This bastard has a lot to answer for. Hopefully, it will be in this life.
